Established in 2001, MITCOE has come to be known as the destination of choice for most aspiring women engineers, not only from Maharahstra, but also from the rest of India.

MITCOE has evolved into a technology savvy mentor of women engineers. The vision for the 21st Century and the pragmatism shown by the management to turn that into a reality are palpable at every step, the moment you step into MITCOE campus.

MITCOE the college is situated in a serene part of the spectacular yet quiet MIT Campus at Kothrud, PUNE, India. Our teaching - learning methodology is highly participative and interactive. We encourage students to be team players, rather than mute receivers in the knowledge building process. Their opinion is often taken into account in many academic and other matters without compromising the institute discipline. For this, we have put in place a number of systems and appropriate controls to ensure their positive implementation.

Healthy competition among the students is another tool that is used widely to let students excel themselves and to identify leaders from among them. Involvement of industry professionals in the development of students is another area where our college is focusing with considerable success. We recognize that merely imparting the chalked out syllabi education will make MITCOE just another college.

We therefore ensure constant intellectual challenges by taking up inhouse and industry based Research Projects in many leading cutting edge technologies of relevance. Further grooming of students takes place with a number of co-curricular programs including soft-skill developments, additional technical skills with the participation of renowned professionals from industry and business. Finally to make them complete individuals, extra-curricular activities such as sports and culture are encouraged.

We are among a few institutes, who are ISO certified. MITCOE got ISO certificate from American Quality Assessors (AQA) a prestigious body especially in Europe & USA.

For continual improvement, we carry out two Internal Audits of all of our processes like teaching learning, laboratory management, library management annually which and followed by management Review Meetings and AQA Surveillance audits every year.
