Prof. Mangesh Karad, Executive Director
MIT College Of Engineering started and took professional shape in MIT ‘s state of the art educational campus in the year 2001 to cater the women in the field of Engineering. Behind this, motivations were woman empowerment, growth of MIT and to fulfill the ever growing demand of Electronics and Information technology industry. It is a legacy of excellence in technical education that we have brought up this college. MITCOE is a state-of-the-art institute designed to bring the best out of its students. We address the specific needs of students in Indian / Asian sub-continent while endeavoring to meet the great expectations of industrial world from future engineers. We encourage students to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and as leaders with a global outlook.
We believe quality education first and then expansion. In year 2006 , we started Mechanical Engineering course with full fledged infrastructure so that from day one students should not feel any shortage of resources. To add management edge for technical education, we started Masters in Business Administration course with intake of 60 in year 2007. This way, I am sure that it will be a techno-managerial aspect and atmosphere in the campus which will benefit all the students of this college.
It is a matter of great pride and privilege to be the executive director of such a unique institute. In the last 7 years we have progressed well ahead and will continue to do so in future. I would like to assure you, that we are well directed and well focused on excellence in technical education. As an endorsement of our commitment to quality education, we were recently awarded ISO9001-2000 Quality Certification.
I have no doubt that our students would attain high levels of educational and professional achievements.
